Niddy Noddies are used to make skeins from your hand spun yarn coming directly from the bobbin on the spinning wheel. They also measure the yardage; one complete circuit of the niddy noddy is either a full yard or a half yard depending on the size of your niddy noddy. 
 
Our niddy noddies are handmade here on the farm using locally harvested wood. They come fully detactable for easy storage and if you want to make them more secure you can add some super glue to one of the ends.
